Yes, new students can start at any time during the year. Tuition for the first month is prorated based on the enrollment date:
Early in the month: Prorated for the remaining weeks of that month.
Late in the month: Prorated for the current month and may include full tuition for the following month.
After the first invoice, all subsequent months are due in full.

No. The program focuses exclusively on realism — accurate drawing, value, color, and form. These classical foundations are essential for strong visual understanding and craftsmanship, which remain valuable no matter where an artist’s interests lead later on.
Materials & Mediums

Yes, the studio is fully equipped with easels, lighting, and basic setup tools. You’ll only need to bring your drawing or painting supplies.

The program is structured specifically around oil painting methods. While many skills from oil painting transfer well to acrylics, acrylics dry too quickly for the kind of layered and blended work we focus on. To learn the fundamentals properly, oil paint is essential to the lessons.

We’ll provide a recommended supply list. You’re welcome to bring your own tools and paints, but we can also supply materials for a small studio fee if needed.

We only accept students aged 16 and older. For younger artists, we recommend our partner school, Monart, which offers excellent foundational programs for children and teens.

No. Tuition is due in full prior to the start of classes. In certain cases, partial payment arrangements can be made, but instruction will not begin until the full invoice has been paid.
